I have been totally slacking, but finally here are the pics of the first fitting for trousers belonging to a suit, so basically "office pents" I will get a second pair of cuffed pants for some additional flexibility.

The fabric is a Super 160s mid grey Loro Piana - the sofar only 160s I have ever seen from LP. In comparison to other projects that I posted, this fabric is more ... flimsy (?) so I dont expect the cleanest look in the world.

Current brown buttons are a bit out of place. Will have them changed into black to match the silk's slickness.

I would prefer dark brown buttons.

if you're bold enough, go for mother of pearl buttons

Yes, they don't look bad to me too, it's a nice contrast. A darker, more muted tone would provide a more understated look.

I think what rubbed me the wrong way was how the light brown corozo buttons contrasted with the sleekness of silk. The former to me is always more country while the later to me is more fashion forward.

Looks great! I love that cooler shade of green.

It's up to you, to keep that attractive contrast or to opt for a more cohesive choice. A grey mother-of-pearl would complement the look nicely as well.
