Took 5 fittings over a period of 18 months but finally received my Cifonelli Db 6x1 suit. Very happy with the end result.

Poor lighting but here's a quick photo:

It might be an unfair ask, but what are your thoughts between this piece and your suit from Michael Browne?

Very nice! Out of curiosity, why did it take so long? Are they really busy?

Thanks. I think it took this long because it was my first commission with them and my body changed quite a bit between the first couple of fittings (gained some muscle mass in the upper body).

They usually do a bunch of fittings for first time clients. I had 4 for me for SB one button peak lapel.

Mine was something like this

Measured day 1.
Come back next day for a quick fitting on day 2.
Trunk show fitting in NYC.
Fitting in Paris.
Trunk show fitting in NYC.
Delivery.

Oo tough question. Michael's suit definitely stands out more, you can't expect to fly under the radar when you are wearing a MB suit. It's also much less forgiving if you put on weight. The Cifonelli suit is more comfortable, has a much lighter construction and has a more "classic" feel to it. The finishing on both suits is top notch but I'd give Michael an edge there too. The guy is obsessed with details.

I like these somewhat unconventional jackets, but they would look so much better as sport coats, in my opinion.
