I am in the search of a Melbourne based tailor bespoke/high quality MTM preferably.
Do we have any recommendations? Looking for more casual style sports jackets, trousers and shirts.
Shirts id like to be around 300<500$. Others pieces <1000$
Is this possible?
Thank you

I've used Jose Zarpan before for a pair of trousers for me, and for my gf.

My pair came out pretty good, my gf's pair (she has a more complicated bodytype than me) is coming out better than mine (last fitting soon) - tbh I prefer his process for women which differs slightly to mens, they get a calico fitting whereas for mens it goes straight into the fabric with pockets done on first fitting.

He does Bespoke and I think he's pretty flexible in terms of the make. His default for jackets is half-fused but he says he can do full canvas or unlined etc on request, and as little or as much hand work as you want.

He doesn't make shirts however, not aware of any fully bespoke shirt makers in melb, only MTM companies.

I've also tried P Johnson, and Germanicos (MTM disguised as bespoke and not made in melb like they say they are) and had poor experiences with both that ended up with unwearable garments. Also Steve Calder MTM which I had good results with, but I don't know if he's taking new customers at the moment as he's mostly moved into RTW.

How important is full vs half canvas to you for heavier sport jackets?
