I just saw on one of those clickbait sites a shocking story in which a woman refused to send an ill-tempered "pit bull" to the shelter (and certain doom). The dog repaid her kindness by tearing her arms off, which mauling caused the poor lady's demise. In the article, it was stated that the so-called "pit bull" outweighed his mistress by 30 pounds. Now, what kind of genuine, pure-bred APBT is going to outweigh even a petite woman by that amount? If the details of that story are correct, that so-called "pit bull" would have to be some kind of bandog (pitbull/large mastiff cross). It has long been my theory a great many of these horrible maulings and killings attributed to APBTs have really been the work of these mutts. In fairness to bandogs, while I have met some that scared the pants off me (and those of you who know me from this thread know I am not afraid of big, tough dogs, per se), I have met other bandogs that were total sweethearts, with hearts as big as they were, as I like to say.

My little neurodivergent idiot. Comes from heavily titled parents but he is way too aggressive to take to a show ring or breed forward. Miniature Bull Terrier 16kg, 40cm, 2.5 years old.

That story is not cogent in and of itself. The guy dragged it out to the yard and shot it... Right... A crazed dog who grossly outweighs the woman is somehow small and submissive enough for the man to drag all the way out to the yard, as well as politely waiting for mister to go and fetch his gun. It might have been slightly more believable had he shot it on the spot, which he definitely would have done had he been carrying.

Propaganda never ceases to spread among the lower classes and strike fear into their twin brain cells (fight or flight).

You were doing pretty good until this part, Tucker...

He was super excited in the beginning and disappointed later on when he found out that snow can in fact be heavy and quite a bit annoying when you like to run around like he usually does :)
That dog has the same sentiment as I have about snow.
