Haha. Always a good time meeting up. Glad I didn’t get fitted for this visit. Say…40 lbs by September is attainable no?
Nope, 40 lbs. by September is a stretch. As someone who spent years in the weight-loss business, 2 lbs./week is a safer, more realistic goal for the three months/13 weeks between now and September. So that's more like 25 lbs., or maybe 30. Whatever your number, it's a noble goal. Best of luck on achieving it.

Probably more appropriate for the casual thread. Oh well. Denim shirt and thick cotton sport coat. I’m always at a loss for what to do with this jacket. It’s super comfortable but hilariously short (Brooks Red Fleece) so I feel like I can only wear it in very casual situations. I’m always this close to donating it, but I can never bring myself to. It was purchased early in my sartorial journey so I think it has some sentimental value. I think moving forward I’ll use it more like a cardigan.

Id like to see a full length shot. Looks good from the angle you’ve shown.

Was going to say, “treat it like a cardigan” ….

Here's a hypothetical for you well-dressed gents:

What would you do, sartorially speaking, with 5 days in Naples and $2,500 to spend?

I'm thinking a pair of shoes from Meccariello would be a good start.

Any other tips?

The idea was to combine it with the oxblood shoes, but it seems, that it did not work properly ;)
I thought the shoes were black and I like the red socks.

Should note that I have more red socks than any other color in my sock drawer.

The shoes look dark brown to me. I think a royal blue sock would have been a better pop of color than red.

A royal blue might also be "too much" in my opinion. I would go with a pale blue (the one of the handkerchief) or a beige or ecru tone.

I also love red socks and they are always a statement. They don't look bad in that context, but, as stated by AAS, don't make sense, as the outfit is all played in tenuous tones.
