Bausch & Lomb Ray Ban USA Ambermatic Vintage Shooter Sunglasses with Original Case

Marked “B&L Ray Ban USA” on top of bridge crossbar

No Frame Size but these are bigger than my vintage 58 MM so they are the standard 62MM Size

Pearl Sweat Bar

Wire Wrap Around Frame

All Weather Golden AMBERMATIC Lenses

Original Ray Ban Stamped Pebbled Leather Case

Classic “Bullet hole” Design

MADE IN THE USA!

Lenses have virtually no scratches but there is a minor blemish on right lens. Other than that they are in stunningly amazing condition. See high res pics for details. Does not obstruct vision and almost cannot be seen but I believe in Full Disclosure.

Frame Condition (IMPORTANT! Please Read)

One of the hinge screws seems to be a replacement as it is not completely flush with the frame. All other screws, parts are complete and nice. The hinges are loose (meaning the arms swing freely when titled downward so they need to be tightened by a jewler).

The wrap around wire cables are loose so they do not wrap around your ear snugly. (Identical Replacements can be bought online for $20)
.

Notice the lenses change from light yellow amber to dark brown amber depending on lighting conditions.

No white “Ray Ban” insignia and no B&L markings on nose pads dates these to the late 1960s or early 1970s (that’s when my Dad told me he bought them).

Selling AS IS a vintage used Collectors Item. ALL SALES FINAL. NO RETURNS.

Glasses will be carefully and over-protectively packaged and will ship via USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Box for $5.15 same day as payment received
