Dear friends!

Over the past few years, we've crafted thousands of sneakers, boots, bags, and small leather goods at our partner factories in Portugal. We've worked to source a range of incredible exotic skins, and we're rolling them out as individual group buy projects. We'll focus on a single type of leather at a time and offer a selection of goods for order. This model allows us to greatly expand what we can offer and develop the absolute best products for the money.

I'll keep this thread updated with new projects, development updates, samples, and little bits and pieces. Please feel free to post any questions or comments that you have!

It's that time again! We're ready to kick off another round of production for our genuine shell cordovan trainers. Each pair will be made in Genuine Shell Cordovan, sourced from the esteemed Comipel Tannery of Italy. These horsehide shells are entirely sourced, tanned, and finished in Europe.
For this project, we have an incredible new leather on offer: Teak Shell Cordovan with a handsome pebble grain stamp. This leather is expressly dyed and produced for us, and it is absolutely stunning in person! The color is a perfect deep tan with a touch of reddish cast. The intricate grain stamp gives the leather a beautiful texture and will allow for a patina that's totally distinct from a smooth shell cordovan. And for practicality, this grain shell will be more scratch resistant and consistent in tone than shell cordovan typically is. Pair this with our minimal trainer designs, and the result is both magnificent and truly unique. There's nothing else like this in the world! We have enough leather available to make 24 units.
And not only that.. we're able to offer individual customizations for this round. Choose your eyelets for the Sport Trainer or choose BOTH your eyelets and your sole for the Tennis Trainer.
Our factory has proven to be extremely skilled with this production. Given their background experience with other exotic skins (Stingray, Crocodile, Ostrich), they are able to competently work with the complex nature and small skins of Shell Cordovan. Their craftsmanship and finish is exquisite. Each pair is individually cut, sewn, lasted and finished.

Thanks so much for your orders everyone! 10 slots have been claimed. I'm so jazzed to put these into work for you.

Here's some outdoor pics from sunny Hermosa Beach. I typically use a Sony A7RII to shoot our products, but the battery died. I ended up shooting these with the iPhone7+. It's not the same, but man, it's incredible how well the camera performs on that thing. The first pic is shot with the fake bokeh "portrait" mode, and it looks pretty legit.
