I've got a simple black Levi's denim trucker that fits great and I love. What I don't love are the black buttons. So I'm up for replacing them, preferably with silver/nickle. Can anyone point me to some specific buttons I should consider. Everything I've seen on Amazon and Ebay just look cheap, not to mention I'm not sure of the sizing.

Any help would be appreciated!

you'll need a machine to install riveted shank buttons or find a denim shop who can do . once you figure out who can do the work they'll have a selection .

i've had this done at levi's fwiw

I got some with screw backs that aren’t excessively horrible while I look for something better.

^ But those are buttons. I need rivets.
Ah, didn't realize that. That's more problematic, since rivets leave holes when you remove them. Replacements will likely need some backing to reinforce the fabric. Can you sand the black coating off, or maybe just paint them silver?
