Hey guys,
Been a minute since we've done a meetup. Figured we could get a thread going to discuss dates and locations and we will make a new official thread when we've made our decision. I'm open to suggestions on either I know Summer can be crazy for scheduling with people out of town and all. Weekends have seemed to work best in the past although Weekday evenings could work as well. I'll be out of town the weekend of the 4th as well as the first week of August. Aeronaut worked well space-wise although it may be nice to mix it up. I know Back Bar has been thrown around in the past, I've never been so maybe someone can comment to whether or not it would be accommodating enough.

@thewho13, @mike868y, @afixedpoint, @rydenfan, @Drinkwaters, @CSCoHammers7, @ridethecliche, @baltimoron, @Feji, @BostonHedonist, @TM79, @Stone, @KingJulien, @clark kent, @Bhowie, @Portland Dry Goods, @A Fellow Linguist ... feel free to tag anyone else I may have missed.

keep in mind that market week hovers around ~july 20th, so I will be out of the area for a few days before & after that (I imagine Mr Drinkwater will as well). I still haven't been to trillium. been looking for an excuse to get down there to putz around a bit.

Good to know! Trillium only sells bottles, nothing for on-premise consumption. That said, if you come down for our meet-up you should definitely swing by Trillium for some proper Boston "Souvenirs"

A meetup would be fun, though I'm kind of in London a lot right now. Will be back in Boston end of July through most of August (reverse vacation). Back Bar is small for a meetup and the furniture is awkward. Amazing cocktails though.

Liberty Hotel foyer would be an ideal spot, with several restaurants right there and most patrons dressing to impress. You see everything from Ghetto Fabulous to Don Draper in there.

Not sure if they're doing it this year, but Thursday nights usually have a fashion show featuring local designers.

I'm in for the 10th anytime after 7 PM when I get out of work. That Friday also happens to be when the US plays Haiti in the Gold Cup right here in Foxboro, so I assume certain spots will be showing that. Might be a factor for smaller spaces.

Sounds like we will be missing a few people for the 10th. What about the 17th or 18th?

I know Gary is leaving for NYC on the 17th for his buying trip, I assume PDG (Sorry man, I should know your name...) is on/around the same schedule. I hope we can find a date that works for everyone!

i'm from boston! (well, braintree)

South Shore, ASSEMBLE! I live in Hull :fistbump:

Tagging @nsltrls, @VCircuit. Not sure if they're still around though.
