I didn't see any recent posts with this info, so thought I'd post a thread. Does anyone have a GREAT recommendation for best (quality and professional tailor) MTM suit in NYC for $1-1.5K?

I'm looking to buy a high quality navy suit that I can use as my primary year-round suit. Looking for a suit that fits very well and is equal or higher quality to/as my only suit (BB 1818 from 7+ years ago that's half canvas and I think 130s wool), and that costs <$1,500 inclusive of all fees and tailoring. Waiting for any deals to get best bang for buck would be fine - I view this is an investment, so want to love it and for it to last! (FYI, I wear a suit about 1x per week on average and went down to 1 suit from 2 suits recently because my navy one was ruined.)

Any advice would be very appreciated!!!

FWIW, I'm 5'9.6", 37/38 chest, 33 waist usually, 31ish inseam, and fit perfectly into BB 15-32 Milano dress shirts (except sleeves are a bit puffy).

Kent Wang is your best bet, in my opinion. For that price point, you can get top shelf wool and the suit will impress everybody. I still get compliments on my $600 Kent Wang navy suit that is 5 years old!!
