She said she would give the price to forum members who called her also she will honor the RDA prices for anything else. Limited time offer.

Great she was nice I actually looked at the JBM's yesterday but they did not have my size. So when I stopped by to order them from the factory she said she checked the order that just came in and there was my size. So she set them aside for me knowing I was coming back to order.

I get them tomorrow, I had them shipped to my home since no NYC tax on shipped purchase.

I picked up some inexpensive tan laces from Amazon to put in my brown HM: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CLJV7XG

I haven't actually gotten around to re-lacing them, since the boot season down here is still a month or so away, but they look and feel nice. They seem to be about 1 mm narrower than the stock laces, though that shouldn't change the aesthetic much if at all.

Additionally, Guarded Goods sells a great waxed boot lace (http://www.guardedgoods.com/collections/shoe-laces/products/flat-waxed-laces) that I picked up a while back to put in my First Avenues, and I can recommend those as well.

Sorry I saw your old message too late. Glad to hear your situation is resolved. Please post pics when they arrive. I'm curious as to what a grey Strand will look like.

It's probably best you bought them now (while steep at 335) because I doubt the grey will last more than a few days.

I like the look of the Cornwallis a lot. If I were to get it, I think that the chili version would be my preference. I just feel like it shows off the detailing a lot better than the brown and is more versatile for my wardrobe than a walnut would be. The only downside is that it's my understanding the chili version is a Nordstrom exclusive. I'm not sure if that affects your exchange possibilities. My personal rankings of the offerings would be:

Chili
Walnut
Brown
Navy
Black
Gray

I'll be honest, I'm surprised they don't offer it in Oxblood. Of course, that might be too sexy of a shoe for any mortal man to wear. It would have to come with a stick for you to carry around with you wherever you went in order to beat all the ladies away.
