Real Mccoy's is the real deal. The quality is up there with any brand. I bought a visvim denim jacket a few years ago secondhand, and never understood the pricing. The repro brands were all just as good, if not better in quality.- jmiller123

I've tried the tucked t look and mostly feel goofy wearing it that way. I know it's the usual look for repro style but at least for me, not living in a big city such a ny, can look cosplay as noted. It's the khaki without stencil. I'm on the upper end of a M in US and L in JP but find this one tight up top if I wear anything more than a tee. I have broader shoulders though from working out so I think this is why.- jmiller123

Man.. might need to offload my Mccoy's N1 40. One of my favorite jackets but don't reach for it often as I'm a tweener size and the shoulders are too tight. Has anyone had any luck stretching an n1? Not really sure it's possible considering the alpaca and tight weave- jmiller123

I've had a few jackets from Filson- good quality stuff, although they have recently moved most production overseas which has bothered many fans of the brand. Tin cloth and mackinaw wool are definitely the highlights. Easily slots in with RRL vibe. Be aware that most of this stuff fits a size...- jmiller123

I've been eyeing this RL Brown's beach jacket for a few months and decided to pull the trigger on it since its on sale. Really nice quality and has some weight to it. Sleeves are a bit short so might be a problem for you taller guys.- jmiller123

Love my McCoy's N-1. Damn that thing is warm. I agree the fit is great and more flattering than some of the other options out there. Only problem I have with it is I find the shoulders a bit tight if I'm wearing something thicker underneath such as a sweater or heavy flannel. Does anyone have...- jmiller123

I definitely prefer when the sleeve sits right without a bunch of folds, so when they have a 35-36"+ sleeve length when I usually like a 33-34", just doesn't work unfortunately.
