The unofficial Drake's London Appreciation Thread

Nah. Can’t see it happening either. We’re a weird country when it comes to things like trunkshows from reputable tailors, or manufacturers. Probably lots of reasons to surmise that would be best left out of this thread.

SPIER & MACKAY - Official Affiliate Thread

Might be late to the party, but it looks like there is a bit more customization available under the MTO sport coats? Lapel width being the most notable. I concur with most that the Neo cut might not always be warranted, but it's nice to have an option to do MTO with the normal cut, and widen the...

Just do the Drake’s denim. Be it the Made in England or Portugal, I don’t think it’s worth getting too in the weeds about the difference. Warehouse and Iron Heart will probably look a bit too workwear-y in comparison to what drew you to the Drakes denim.

Looking like a new green seersucker Games suit is en route soon. Should be a good one, will hit the right notes for casual summer suiting.

The Japanese Repro Clothing Thread (Real McCoys, Freewheelers, Etc.)

Bingo. I've been enjoying cropped casual jackets lately and didn't quite realize that they work for me. I farted around with thinking about a Baracuta G9 but it just isn't me. I like something a bit more rugged, with some texture. Buck Mason put this Storm Stopper out today, which got me...

Is there such a thing as an unlined deck jacket? Thinking something more appropriate for the Spring, rather than the pile-lined versions. Haven't come across one, might not be a thing?

Leather Jackets: Post Pictures of the Best You've Seen/Owned?

Fair point. The reality is that I’m a bit set on a green trucker, and also like things like functional pockets. Pretty slim pickin’s out there but I’m open to new ideas. I almost brought up the Huckberry/Golden Bear one they have on their site but anticipated a bunch of naysaying.

Leather Jackets: Post Pictures of the Best You've Seen/Owned?

Seems like the Todd Snyder Dylan is pretty agreed upon as a decent suede trucker...at least from the thread history here. Any sizing recommendations? I'm pretty in between a M and L, where the shoulders on the M might be a bit slim? I'm a 42 in both Y'2 and Real McCoys, but those feel like they...

Good lord, that Duster is amazing. I think that is finally the platonic ideal of a raincoat I've hunted for for years.

@justinpledger Owner of two RMFB vests, here's a fit pic. I doubt they changed their pattern for Drake's. Recommend sizing up 2.

Has anyone picked up the Alfie chinos? I'm a 32 or 33 depending on the brand, seems like a 48 is the way to go? Can anyone comment on sizing?

I had a bit of rubbing on the white denim, but it didn't really bother me. I wore that shirt, chore jacket, and denim hard and repeatedly, so the shirt wore off on jacket as well. All part of the charm in my eyes.
