I'm going there for the weekend - any tips for good vintage shops (OK, and other shops)? As stated before, I actually prefer older stuff to new, I wondered if anyone has tips about thrift shops, flea markets, vintage clothiers and places like that. I'll cross-post this in the MC and SW&D forums, hope nobody minds.

There is a whole street packed with vintage clothing stores. It runs parallel to the main shopping street Kurfürstendamm and might be called Bernadotte or Bernstorfstraße. Its easy to find

Thanks! I'll check it out - do you know how the hours are on Sat/Sun?

I've heard something like that; to really get a close look at life in any particular city, you should see the fleamarkets.
