That sounds.... excessive.

My Equinox story:

They opened an Equinox near me a few years back and I was able to get a couple free months there. It was a nice facility by definitely not worth the $250/mo they were charging (though they definitely had a hawter female clientele than my gym). A bunch of the members from my gym ended up leaving to go there permanently but most came back after about a year because they jacked the rates up after a promo period and they all complained that there was no sense of community in there.

I did go back in there last year a couple times because they added cold plunge tubs and a running group I belong to got to test them out on a few Saturdays. That was sort of cool.

16 hours per month = $200 an hour. My coach is $45 an hour, provides the gym, and I only pay if I show up.
