Remove laces, tie boot in a ball, soak in water for a couple days. Let dry while in ball-shape.

I was a bit worried at first, but seemingly no. The glue seemed to get a bit unglued, but I patted everything back down and they seem to be fine once they've dried. I mostly use them for riding these days, which is sort of sad, but also tells me they're holding up well.

Does anyone have any tips/suggestions on how to taper jeans? My NS' have a 7.5"~ leg opening, I want them to be 7". If this procedure is difficult, does anyone know of any good tailors in San Jose, CA? The only ones I know of around my house literally don't speak any English at all and I don't want them ruining my jeans.

pretty simple thing for a tailor to do. just make sure you tell them if you want them tapered through the whole leg or just from the knee down. ive had many pairs of jeans and chinos tapered and never had a problem. i used to live in sj but I cant for the life of me think of the place i used to go. i remember it was somewhere near valley fair mall..

Bleached these jeans using the synthese method. Might let them go in the bleach bath for a while longer, thoughts?

Jack Daniels logo ironed on a Muji V neck. Not much of a DIY but I just wanted a douchebaggy Jack Daniels t shirt that fit.

Black captoes painted with gold acrylic. The local art store didn't have gold leaf. Any ideas on how to make them look less uniform?

Gold spraypainted Converse Dr J high tops.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
