So what's the waist on these? Does 31 measure to 31?

Also, how is the thigh measurement? I couldn't find that info anywhere.

if you got a 31 they would be a tad bigger. I think my 30s presoak were around 11-11.5" thigh. I have it written down somewhere presoak. I have little baby thighs so I want slimmer lol

This is odd. The thigh on my pre-shrunk black 501 new fits are 12" on a 30/30. I just measured it. Where are you measuring it? Right at the crotch or a couple inches lower?

I'm just going to go to like Dillards or somewhere and try on some 501's. I mean hell, wtf these jeans are like 30-40 dollars.

I was going by memory pre soaked, but as they are now well worn they measure 10.5 right at the crotch and 10" an inch or so below.

Remember these vary somewhat. Mine were made in Haiti.

Maybe Im measuring wrong? I just go seam to seam: Layed flat they measure 11".

Maybe the STFs fit a little differently than the washed. I just measured it again and it's closer to 11.5" so not too big of a variation I suppose. 24" thighs would be very difficult to fit in any of these I guess. Maybe getting a STF and wear them while soaking to prevent shrinking in the thigh past a certain point?

Trust me man, I can't find like ANY jeans to fit my waist and thigh measurement, that doesn't look baggy as **** up top and below knee. About to say ******* and resort to track pants and hoodies.

What's crazier is I have plenty of friends who have 30-32" waists...and some of them have up to 26.5" thighs. All below 12% bodyfat year round. I just can't believe not ONE nice denim brand carries a jean that's made for an athletic frame.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
