I live in Baltimore and even up here people are renting out their homes. A 2 bedroom townhouse is going for anywhere from $1500 - $3000 for the week!!!

My g/f lives just outside of DC and she, along with one of her roommates, will be renting out their rooms for $200-$400 a night. She'll stay with me that week. The roommate will stay with her b/f and the third roommate has agreed to stay in the apt to "babysit" the guests.

I will be going nowhere near DC for that week. I work about 20min North of DC and I can imagine the traffic is going to be a nightmare

Offer stands!

A member may be able to crash in my den for a small fee to be discussed upon PM'ing me.

I also have extra Gala tickets for sale.

Just curious, but how much do Gala tickets go for? Which Gala is this?

My good friend (a little more than a friend though but I dont know how I would categorize it exactly) is the CEO for an "community organizer" organization in England. They work very closely with the organization that Obama used to work for. She was here a few weeks ago in Chicago and then in NYC. The guy who first gave Obama a job as a community organizer (who I guess is the head of the organization they work with in Chicago...) gave her a few tickets for some people who he was inviting from her organization. One of the people canceled so she asked him if I could come along instead of returning it to the guy and he was fine with it...

Most of the ball's and gala's that are actually worth going to are sold out. They ranged from $125-$300 if you bought early and their prices staggered higher as time went on. The only tickets I have left are two to the South Carolina Ball at the Air and Space Museum on the 19th. George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton both had their first appearances at that ball, so it's one of the biggies.

I have a master list of all the events with organizer details and status info. I don't think I'm supposed to give it out, but wtf. PM me with an email address and I'll send it. Just don't tell anyone you got it from me. You might still be able to get into the MTV Ball.

Mourning....or pulling a Budd Dwyer...but I'll probably save that for if he gets a 2nd term.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
