...any opinions on the four pieces here would be appreciated

I picked up that last jacket -- the one with the multiple lapels -- on a whim a while back. Because it wasn't as outré as my other Yohji stuff, I thought "oh, I might use this occasionally." As it turns out, I find myself wearing it with all sorts of outfits for just that reason -- its subtlety makes it an extremely versatile complement to other pieces. I urge you to consider it, if the price is right, and assure you it will become an absolute staple in your wardrobe.

i actually had but couldn't keep it for various reasons ... it's incredibly light and i know just what you mean, the rather absurd lapel details, another "silent but deadly" as mr david just said. am seriously considering it again even though it will cost a bit more this time around ..

80 shipped. If it doesn't work out, then I will return it. As far as boxiness, i have something in mind. We will see if execution matches concept :D

also, 14 day return policy!

^would you say it's worth the ~£20 or so from amazon? I'll probably get it since the dimensions look good.

I've been searching for some small-sized (28 and under) Yohji trousers and I've seen a couple cut like men's trousers in the women section.
Do they fit the same but sized smaller or cut differently despite the pictures?
I don't mind wearing a belt (as intended with some trousers), but some trousers tagged S are just too big for me.

size 2 should fit you.
if you like it have a look for the y's trousers. usually there are 1 or 2 sizes smaller than yyph.

I may end up doing a "real" fit when I'm out and about, but I was happy to try this on. As I had imagined, I think it looks better with slimmer cropped trousers rather than very wide/oversized ones which would end up giving me a trapezoidal silhouette with shrunken head (very obvious from straight-on shot)
