Gents,

What's your PERSPECTIVE and/or EXPERIENCE in regards to woven/braided elasticated fabric belts,
similar to the ones pictured below? I'd welcome your thoughts and insights, and, in particular:

a) Do you like them? If YES, what are the most appealing features? If NO, what is it that puts you off?
b) Do you own one (or more) or could you see yourself buying one in future?
c) Are there any belt designs/styles you believe are better options/alternatives?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts shared. I intend to follow this with another, related, thread in due course.

Ciao

I like them a lot. Charvet or Brunos Cannes (which have golden hardware, which I obviously prefer)

My usage of belts has really gone down since the last 4-5 years.
Intrigued by it, I bought a Tommy Hilfiger navy belt a few months ago.
Comfort compared to leather belt - high, more so after a meal
Keeping shirt tucked - low
Overall satisfaction - high
Alternative - Daks adjusters, with styled waistband;
Metalic Neapolitan style adjusters work well too.

Have had loads of "costly" leather belts, around 100-150$, throughout the years, and the leather always breaks after a year or two. But the braided leather belt from RL just never wears out... so I'm all for em.
