Would you wear these shoes with a dark navy suit?

Thoughts on wearing this color with navy?

I almost always wear black or very dark brown oxfords/derbies but I’m considering this color to mix things up.

I would not choose those with a suit. A sportcoat and trousers, sure however a suit? No.

Also, I don't mind brogues with a suit even though traditionally it's plain cap toe or bust.
But looking closer, that vamp is a bit eccentric and I wouldn't wear those with a suit.

Yeah it’s Berluti - while I own some black Alessandro models that look quite nice with a navy suit, these are definitely a big too eccentric for a suit probably.

Given I wear suits 99% of the time when I dress up and rarely if ever don sport coats, I think I won’t get them as they aren’t good for my personal style and wardrobe.

I never mind wearing a less casual shoe. For example, I wear longwings with suits all the time. But, I don’t wear more formal shoes with a less formal outfit.

Also OP that color COULD work. I wouldn’t. But it’s certainly passable in my eyes.

As an update, I decided to pass on the shoes. I love Berluti, and frequently wear my black Alessandro’s with my suits, but I don’t see how I’d personally ever wear these with a navy or dark gray suit. I much prefer black shoes, as almost all my suits are navy or dark gray. Ended up picking up a pair of black Ferragamo Tramezza wingtips I quite like.
