Edit: Wish kicker was higher; wasn't it 20% last year?

Must be a sign economy turning a corner.

It looks like the buy 2 -25% buy 4 - 40% discount is in effect already for shirts, but 15% corporate discount doesn't stack on top of that.
Will there be any additional sales on boxing day (the 26th) or will it be the same as it is right now?
thanks!

Picked up a couple of suits and 4 shirts. SA didn't want to deal with figuring everything out on the 26th, so got the 30% off of the suits, 40% of of the shirts, plus the 15% kicker. The kicker was a little better last year, but I can't complain. Glad I went in today, the shirts were starting to get picked over,

Anyone else dissatisfied with brooks brothers ties in general? The width becomes narrow too far down the tie, making it nearly impossible to tie a decent knot for anyone over 5'9".

I hope they surprise me and add some 40L to the mix. No SCs and a white suit.

BB is definitelynot my first stop for ties. Their bow ties are nice but the normal ties lack creativity and quality.

Can someone help me out and explain the difference in material between these two shirts?
Supima cotton oxford
http://www.brooksbrothers.com/Extra...var_MG00693_Color=MULT&contentpos=9&cgid=0297
vs.
Garment washed (not supima?)

Pinpoint Oxford and Oxford cloth both use the same weave, but the pinpoint threads are finer and lighter in weight.

Some cotton is a long staple Supima, some isn't.

Although I buy a lot of my clothing at BB, I do not think their ties are worthwhile. They seem rather flimsy, even in the Golden Fleece range. My price point for ties is roughly $50-$100, and so I wait for deals on brands such as Thomas Pink, Drakes, and the occasional Isaia or Kiton. You can find deals on these at Barneys, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, or online (A Suitable Wardrobe, Ben Silver, etc.).
