I have a Kamakura slim fit in a pattern and the darts in the back are a bit odd, especially for wearing without a jacket. Great quality but just wanted to point that out. May be less of an issue on a white OCBD.

I'm not a fan of the darts!

What's wrong with the Kamakura darts? Shaped wrong?

Darts in an OCBD is just wrong, IMO. I think the previous posters are expressing the same sentiment. If I ever decide to try Kamakura, I'll most certainly opt for the non-darted classic fit.

There are dartless versions from Kamakura... New York and Tokyo "Classic"

I am curious why you think Peal are overpriced compared to regular C&J. The ones I have seen are the same price as C&J benchgrade, yet most seem to think the Peals made by C&J fall somewhere in between bench grade and hand grade.

I found this statement odd too.

This might be of interest in our discussions regarding Supima cotton.

The fact that it does not say made from imported fabric might mean the fabric was made in the US then transported to Malaysia for construction.

The keyword on those tags is non-iron. I believe BB has been transitioning to supima cotton in all of its shirts, but the non-iron will still be made overseas and the all-cotton will be made in the US. Interestingly, if you go to the store and have one of their MTO shirts made, the fabric you choose will determine where it is made. I had 3 made in all-cotton and they were made in the US, but the non-iron fabric would have been made abroad (Malaysia I believe).

I'm beginning my transition from non-iron shirts to regular supima cotton shirts...wish there was more regular cotton shirts to choose from.
