Whats the best Caribbean island to check out?

Yeah if you want resorts then there's only 1 or 2 in Cuba that are decent. I've heard Sandals is awesome - all inclusive - pay 1 price and it's free flow everything. Pricey though.

However, if you stay in a local house (a casa particular) - basically a b&b, then it could be dirt cheap. The casa owner can cook for you - cuisine in Cuba sucks though. And bottles of rum are like $14 each.

I've yet to find much in the Caribbean that I really like. But ... I'm well beyond using party as a verb.

i want a resort because i want something by the beach(i love chilling at the beach :p)

are these casas beachside?
