The Warriors head to a city wide gang meeting in the Bronx(NYC). While there, the head honcho gets shot/killed by a rival. The Warriors get fingered for the murder.

What to do? Head back to their home turf in Coney Island. But that won't be easy as there is a citywide lookout for the gang.

They start to make their way back to CI and experience rival gangs looking to make a name for themselves by taking them out. The Warriors are determined!

This is a solid flick that takes you back to NYC in the 1970's! Well worth a watch!

3.9/5.

Pretty solid sports movie! Super entertaining - basically if Rocky was told from Mickey's perspective. Sandler's performance here is really good, and I'd totally watch this again.

I watched glengarry when I was in high school and thought it was the most boring movie I’d ever seen.

Rewatching it in my 30s did nothing to change my opinion.

Watched The Banshees of Inisherin recently. I liked it, didn't LOVE it but found it entertaining and very well performed. Also beautifully shot and Martin Mcdonough's dialogue is sharp.

The chemistry between Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleason is so perfect that I rewatched In Bruges which is one of my all time favorites. Love the dialogue, the cinematography and the performances by all are perfect.

That led me to rewatch one I haven't seen in 20 years, Intermission. Colin Farrell and Kerry Condon have a small but very impactful scene to start the film. Cillian Murphy, Colm Meany and Kelly Macdonald are fantastic as well.

Coincidentally, Pratchett's books came up in another thread recently. It's not a bad movie, and it does a decent job of keeping the feel of Pratchett's writing, though it's not especially funny.

Oh, its real, and could be amazing.

I am also "in"!

This was fascinating!

Yes, fascinating, Who could do that??
And slightly disturbing, who in their right mind would do that?

The guy that runs that race is kind of famous in those circles for being, well kind of a nut (that comes across in the movie)

Closest I ever came to anything like this is a 200 mile relay over about 30 hours (multiple runners, running across a day and half.....)

Sandler is a good actor when he wants to be. I almost respect him more for pumping out garbage movies that allow him to vacation in nice areas and hang out with his best friends. He probably has a blast and then flexes his ability every few years to remind you he isn’t Bobby Boucher or Happy Gilmore.
