15:10 to Paris or whatever it was called. Holy ****. I liked it enough to finish it, but man, what a letdown on the whole point of the movie. It tells the true story of 3 or 4 US military bros who thwart a terrorist trying to take over a (lol) rail train, but... [spoiler — ]

...literally 99% of the film is spent on the characters’ pedestrian back stories. The actual terrorist thwarting is such a letdown. Basically, one incompetent terrorist emerges from the train’s bathroom. A bro rushes him. The incompetent terrorist’s gun jams. End of heroic event! Literally two minutes of an hour and a half film. Clint Eastwood should have just made this one a prestigious short. :-/

The 15:17 to Paris.
Agree with you 100.
Save yourself 12:07 and watch 3:10 to Yuma next time.
Much better use of your 2:02.

“Why do you have dog biscuits in your pocket! Why”

Strange surreal and a lot of fun.

No idea; I've never seen it. I was wondering if it was worth tracking down.

I saw the original once, some 30 + years ago - and remember liking it. No idea how it holds up.

Western related, the Deadwood movie was a rather satisfying return to the brilliant Deadwood universe. Could easily have been twice the length for me.

Yes. The original 50s one is a good watch. One of the best film songs ever.

Nice.
Leone/Morricone must have listened to that song many times.
If that clip is any indication, the 50s original looks super, and not as awfully dated as so many films from that era do (to me).

I'm not big on dumb comedies, but I always loved Belushi on SNL.
I had never seen 'Animal House' until the other evening....

Wow, thank heavens. Despite having never seen it, that movie did NOT hold up well. I don't get the clamor and love.It sure wasn't any Mel Brooks work, much closer to Adam Sandler (whom I really find unfunny, stupid, and completely boring).

I wasn't even in a bad mood before I watched 'AH'; it just flat-out stunk.
