I don't know everything it says there, but it's a wool blend (I think it says 65% wool, 35% polyester) which seems consistent with J Press' lower level stuff.

The coat seems to be made as well as other J Press items I've encountered, and I have another one exactly like it that I might keep for myself.

FWIW, here's the full back of the tag.

I have no idea. I was just curious. I passed on two of the same jackets, without maker's tags, at the thrift. I didn't pick them up because they felt like sandpaper. But it would make sense that they were made for the Japanese market due to the apparent styling, so thank you for the clarification. Additionally, I was just unfamiliar with the maker's tags. I am hear to learn, so I don't make the same mistake the next time.

Couple of cheap tweedy herringbone jackets. 38 (shortish):

First a vintage grey Harris tweed one, standard width lapels and so on so very classic look:

Second a nearly new Marks & Spencer green herringbone wool jacket in 38 short. Sold out in this size, really nice fabric and colour, just too short for me as I bought it without realising it was a 38 short, (though check measurements as it is not a very short cut and very nearly works on me at 6'1.5)".
A bargain at full retail and even cheaper here!

Having set aside the ones I want, I am currently disposing of the remains of a job lot of vintage semi-stiff turndown detachable collars, in straightpoint and spearpoint styles in sizes 14 1/2", 16 1/2" and 17". The appear to be new old stock and conditiom varies according to how they were stored but is overall good for their age. The condition is described in the listings. Some are WW2 vintage, some may be earlier, the evening collars probably later. What is in eBay is a representative selection but I have more in the sizes given. I also have a few grey flannel school shirt collars in very small sizes.
