Temporarily hold change in the front pocket. Next it goes to the wife, or when she is not present, it goes to the car.

I rarely have to worry about it. I pay for most things with my debit card, specifically because i HATE having change in my pockets.

I do the same but I always seem to find myself without cash when I go out to lunch with the gang. Sometimes have to get spotted a $10 or go find an ATM when I know we're going to eat someplace that doesn't take the debit card. Yes, those places still exist!

I have a nifty little leather pouch that folds open with two metal hinges at the top, and it snaps shut. Does anybody remember these devices? I got it at a flea market last summer ($4). It's great for when I'm wearing sweats.

I think that's actually a watch pocket. If we are thinking of the same things.

I personally believe in having a good briefcase (or nice leather shoulder strap bag for casual wear) to put your junk in. Face it no matter how hard you try the wallet ballons out because of business cards, coins, receipts etc. Next you have keys, mobile phones, iPods etc all vying for pocket space. It looks much sleeker to take all that garbage and stick it in your bag.

The only hardwear you should have left on your person is that pocket watch.
