V8 spicy. Back when I was a cyclist for my college team, we took one of my friend's water bottles from his cage (when he wasn't looking obviously) and filled it up with V8 Spicy.

Mmm, quite nice with my salumi, baguette, and olive luncheon. On warmer days I prefer a crisp, floral Sauvignon Blanc; but on a cooler day like today, I very much enjoy the tart apple sweetness of the Dry Creek.

Wasn't much of Sauvignin Blanc drinker until the wine buyer of my local shop had me taste 2008 Cade Sauvignon Blanc!

Very good stuff! (HA! called it stuff...) Lovely minerality to balance the brighter citris and apples (golden delicious as opposed to granny smith) and just enough of that buttery/oily texture to keep it interesting and smooth on the palette...I could totally see this paired with the fare you had yours with.

I love Sauv. Blanc. I like it from Kiwi, Sancerre, wherever.

And I especially love Didier Dagueneau. RIP.

This is what convinced me SB was capable of being a really good wine:

the Jancis Robinson Sauv Blanc videos on youtube are great, worth seeking out and watching. Entertainment value is excellent for a wine education video.
