The Glendro well is deep. No chance of those single cask OB prices returning to acceptable. The standard line is really great, not a bad one in the bunch. I still check all the red tubes at a new liquor store for that old stock.

I know St. Germain is called "bartender's ketchup" for its versatility, but I was at a loss of how to use it in cocktails I typically drink. Then I discovered it's a pretty good substitute for sweet vermouth in Manhattans and Manhattan-like drinks.

Yeah. The old stock is amazing because it’s actually like 3-5 years older than actually stated.

What is their fixation with over-proof and why do they get 400k views for a video showing they lack basic physiology knowledge concerning over-proof and what the human tongue can taste? Also the whole "bottled in bond" thing is rather antiquated, given modern quality, but that's probably neither here nor there. That said their choices are pretty solid.

Central Otago Peregrine Wines Pinot Noir 2015 bought this on special before Xmas. Interesting but more akin to a traditional burgundy doesn’t have that dry edge I appreciate in Australian Pinot. That said very enjoyable to wash down the Chiefs v Crusaders rugby game.
