Weird spot on leather shoes

Has anyone ever had a spot like that on their leather soles? I did quite a fair bit of walking today and it was raining slightly for a bit. I happened to notice this spot on my shoe. Personally do not think it’s gum, as it’s been banned way before I was born. Anyone else notice something similar?

Could have walked through oil. It’s on the sole, so it’s not really too important. You can pour some cornstarch on it and let it sit for a few days to draw it out if it really bothers you

I don't know if you have any geese in Singapore, but I once got goose poop on leather soles and they left a similar stain. So it could be animal feces of some sort.
