I really do feel better when I am leaner. I have more energy and recuperate faster after working out. I feel that bulking up and than cutting is not best for optimal health. However, I understand a lot of guys want to build as much muscle as possible, but it is not for me. Also, I'm such a hard gainer that I gave up a long time ago the pursuit of bulk.

Remember Sauce I'm practically a midget (no offense to little people). You probably take me by ½ foot and 50 pounds.

Fair enough. However, I feel that you either underestimate your daily caloric intake or your metabolism is supressed to the point that 1,800 calories represents "maintenance" level. I'm 5'7", 135lbs (was 125lbs about 10 months ago after a massive cut period), but I've always need at least 2,400 calories just to retain muscle mass. Granted, I do a lot of cardio in between lifting days, but you'd need to be a 120lbs sedentary woman to healthily maintain at below 2,000 calories.

You think you have it rough? According to the equation, I need 1300 to maintain, (I'm pretty sure I eat about 2000+ a day) and I STILL CAN'T F@#KING GAIN WEIGHT!

The equation doesn't give you how much you need to maintain, it gives you your basal metabolic rate, but you still need to add in the amount you spend doing your daily activities. If your relatively sedentary multiply by 1.2 to get your calories needed to maintain. If your lightly active 1.375, moderately active 1.55, very active 1.725. Even then its just a rough estimate.

Don't eat bigger meals, eat more meals.
