Virgil KNGR spot release already happened (Jan 2).

There aren't any official virgils for SS2017, but there's a small chance of another spot release I suppose.

What's a spot release? I've never bought straight from Visvim before. Always just Y!jp. And are you guys talking about the US or Japanese sites? Would it be more worth it to proxy from the Japanese store? Thanks for the responses btw.

Spot releases aren't linked to general season releases, so they are like special products that are released infrequently throughout the year

For instance, the spot release Virgils were released early January but aren't part of the larger SS17 collection

Ah I see. Then is there any way to know when these spot releases happen and what items will be included? Black suede Virgils are usually released every season right?

Awww man. Guess I'll just keep any eye out. Any recommendations for proxies? @Emixam you stopped taking orders right? Been using Zenmarket lately but they're pretty slow at doing everything. Thanks again guys

Favorite FBT sole? (Comfort & Design)
- Prime
- Bearfoot
- Corduroy/Geo Patchwork/Sashiko/etc.
- Lhamo

I love the design of the Lhamo soles, but comfort is minimal, feel best when worn without socks.
The soles on the (corduroy, geo) are my favorite in terms of comfort but not design, too chunky in comparison to Lhamo.
Have yet to try both the prime and bearfoot versions, but am a huge fan of the pizi folks.

Does anyone have experience with bearfoot FBT? Comfortable or too thin? Are they durable? Does it hurt to walk on uneven surfaces? (gravel, stones, etc.)

Yep, the Bearfoot sole is thin... feels like you are going bearfoot when you arent wearing socks.
As for the prime sole... definitely the most comfortable in my opinion.

Were the sherpa caravan jackets any good? I'm tempted.
