Played Overwatch for the first time during this free weekend event. Surprisingly my ancient potato for a desktop can run it without severe frame rate drops on lowest setting. Aiming feels a lot easier than TF2, but I still get wrecked against others in quick play.

That must explain why overwatch felt a bit "off" this weekend. Big influx of new freebie players.

Played 2 games of the new 1v1 format.
Pretty entertaining, but highly stressful. So used to being able to be healed/grab healthpacks/respawn in the game that having to play without any of the above was a little tough. I'm usually a pretty aggressive player and I had to tone that back when health became a limited resource.

My friend left EA before he could get a free copy.

Tried overwatch this free weekend on PS4 and now I get the hype. Don´t know if I´ll cop since I still have to buy FF XV and TLG, and TLOU mp satisfies my, well, mp needs, but I really enjoyed what I played of OW. FUn, fast, frantic, lots of character variety. Maybe psn will have it even cheaper during black friday sale.

FF XV looks **** right now, I don't have high popes. Waiting for Persona 5 to buy a PS4.

I'm not fighting a giant worm for 3 days straight :-/. How things have changed since FFVI, lol. I feel like a cranky old man telling kids to stay off my lawn right now, but I pray to Jeebus the game is nothing like what they are showing us.

i bought ff15, but i really hope it doesn't turn out to be another lightning returns. i couldn't sit through more than two hours of that ****. having a timer in an open world setting really ruins it for me.

I never understood the Final Fantasy franchise, but my experience has been limited to Crisis Core, on PSP, so that might not count? Anyway, Steam sale supposedly starts tomorrow, so maybe I'll give some of the old ones a try.

Hmmm, I can't speak on Crisis Core, as I've never played it, but I personally enjoyed FF6 (aka FF3), FF7, FF8, and FF9.

FFX is my favorite. Followed by FF9.

Chrono Trigger destroys them all. :slayer:
