After further thought, I am totally on the mini-ripple slipper bandwagon. I bow to @Graemsay's creativity.

Let's pick one slipper makeup to rule them all. I'm also now in favor of beige kangaroo over gray now that the sole is different, for whatever reason.

As the creator of the Midnight Riders I would be fine with the black waxed Chukka on either the 1035 or 2040 last. Definitely with a structured toe box. I might have a slight preference for the 2040.

Dumb question(s) maybe but when and with what trousers/shorts? will you be donning these slippers with.

Are they to be worn like loafers? (guess they'd be good for air travel!)

If anyone has a pair of slippers, please feel free to post some pics wearing them.

How are people getting comfortable with sizing on the slippers? One of the guys from Viberg told me to go down as much as 1.5 sizes from measured size. But I have not confirmed this for myself.

Guys, please stick to standard soles. Unless we have a very big order for a specific sole (say 25+ orders per model) we are not going to be able to get that.

It's hard to say for sure. Depends on your instep, if you are going no socks only, etc. I posted my initial thoughs on Viberg's main thread, which should be easy to find. PM me if you need more info.

We still need to get down to 10 makeups. Let's focus on that for now.

Incidentally, black Camel hide can be a substitute, if tumbled HH is not available. I saw the leather on a pair of derbies IRL @SampleSale ... nice soft high-density leather w/ fine pebble texture.

This is an interesting idea, but note that we can't dye just the midsole. We'd have to do it like Guidis and dye the whole thing black, and the midsole would come out layered grey and black, most likely. We could have the midsole edgepainted, which might be more tractable.
