Well I guess you'll still be able to buy stuff off their site, they just won't be able to start making your ties or send them out till after they come back on Jun 6.

Payment is always taken at the time of purchase. We'll only be able to process the orders (process meaning check if they're in stock, and prepare them for shipment if they are, or cut/make them if they aren't) once we return.

And for everyone, how seasonal would you all say Matka fabrics are? I love textured solids with color variegation, and am just wondering if I could wear them in the colder months without looking too summery.

I recently received the Pink Hopsack tie. I think it is the nicest Vanda tie to date. I wasn't sure about pink...but this one is amazing.

U.S.-based Vanda customers: what have you found is the current transit time for packages from Singapore to the States? I haven't tried the newish SingPost/First Class option, which the site says is faster but has no insurance. I'm in New York, if it matters. Thanks!

Note: Gerald and Diana are currently on a buying trip (fabrics, etc), until the 6th, so nothing will be processed/sent until then.

Normally, I do the $18 (don't have the Singapore Dollar sign on my keyboard lol) option, with tracking, but no insurance. Never had any issues with it.

My best recollection is that it took somewhere around 6-10 business days to arrive from the date of shipment.

@PCK1 post some pics when you get the chance.
