Yeah now all we need is to star getting some of these stores in Dallas, the H&Ms and such. I still find it hard to believe there isn't an H&M in the state of Texas.

It's certainly not all low rise - the twin pleat chinos are natural waisted, and the flat fronts aren't that low. The twin pleat chinos are probably the best chinos I've bought in years - better cut and constructed than say Charles Thyrwhit or DAKS. I think they're good value for basics. I generally find that chinos end up marked/stained before they've worn out anyway. I'm sure you can find better, but you're getting a decent product at a cheap price.

Are they ok for T-shirts? I need some basic simple summer t-shirts that are slim fit for the beach, I am planning on making a trip this summer to NYC and check it out because we do not have them in Boston. I also need some linen pants and maybe a pair of two of summer shorts.

Do they not offer complimentary hemming on trousers in the store? They do in Japan, for instance. Also, prices there seem to be a lot lower than prices here for whatever reason.

Uniqlo is more or less the Japanese(read: better) version of Banana Republic: decently-made basics at affordable prices. Styles don't change as quickly as fast fashion chains like H&M, Zara, or Topman, but fabric, construction, and quality control are a fair bit better.

Their Ts fit well if you size down 1.

They do offer hemming at the NY store. But I perfer to take it to my tailor since I'm tapering and adding a cuff.
