Some new lines in: Minnis has a very fine 11oz suiting run, under the Enterpries label. Ignore the multi-checks-- basic solids and herringbones appear to have good potential for 3-season wear.

And I just dropped off some of the 2016 blue/grey Rangoon for a jacket and trousers.
I assume the new Enterprise is similar to Dugdale's New Fine Worsted?

NFW is more of a tropical/plain weave, IIRC. This is softer and finer twills, somewhat like Harrison's Regency.

Not quite. Enterprise isn’t really an open weave, more of a slightly finer 2x2 twill. I really like how it makes up, and the weight isn’t super heavy. It’s a crowd pleaser.

Brisbane makes a lot of cords for instance HFW is also made by Brisbane, right?
Anyway, this (picture is not the right shade, way lighter up close) could be it:
But then again 700gr p/metre so drapes like armor, it's soft but you need to wear it in or throw it against the wall 200 times hahaha. I have the same cloth in olive and it's an absolute beast of a trouser!
This fawn color is probably a little more brown than your existing pair.

Looks great, and good suggestion.

Why only those two? You could do all kinds of stripes with the RAF, including wine, yellow, orange, green… It is not a quiet suit, but a discreet cut on the shirt a and sober tie, perhaps also a white collar, will bail you out of any leisure suit references.

You probably could, but as I primarily use suits for work I don't consider any of those an option. I should say I work in diplomacy where the dress code is somewhat on the conservative side.

Ah, yes. Well, boring does have a place. Maybe grey stripes? And lots of different sorts of blue, as on the Bonfanti website.

I had a nightmare happening while in London this weekend. After a walking in a puddle, my favorite cords got some stains, and the dry cleaner of the hotel put BLEACH on them.. so now they are totally f… The trousers were 10-15 years old RTW from Huntsman, very heavy, cream-ish/corn colored and very soft. See pictures. So now I have to make something bespoke with my tailor to recreate them. But really struggeling to become confident on cloth choice, and also having difficulties finding something heavy with cream color. Suggestions?

I’ve been quoted an odd £180£ per metre for some Dormeuil Sportex (the 500gr/m stuff so I don’t think it’s the rerun)

Has anyone had anything made in the original stuff? I imagine it holds like a suit of armor

It’s supposed to be great.

No personal experience though. 250$/meter is a lot though. But up to you.

I'm trying to choose a fabric and I saw a Loro Piana bunch yesterday that I really liked. I'd like to look at it again online and I can't seem to find any of their fabric online.

I'd appreciate any help.

It's this bunch if it helps.
