FWIW, my CJ/Peal for BB Monk straps on the 240 have 8 1/2 4 on the insole. They are a US 8.5D. Interestingly, none of my other CJ/Peal for BB (on the 325, 360, etc.) have the imprint on the insole.

Not sure, but you realize that the different in length of the same model in a 10.5 & 11 is maybe 1/8"?
Measurements are worthless for determining fit.

firstly like rebel said, Barneys CJs are US sized
secondly, like rebel said, measurements are usually worthless
lastly, if anything, 12" is short for a size 10.5. not long. I wear 9.5D US and most of my shoes measure between 11 7/8 to 12 inches. not all of them though
