Those amarettos are wearing so beautifully. I forgot I had some Navy Shell from them, maybe I'll wear those today...

I scrolled back to early 2014 posts (from present)...I'm shocked that nobody has posted a pic of a pair of Winter Smoke Waxy Mohawk? Nobody have any of those? I just ordered mine yesterday...fell in love with this boot the first time I saw it back earlier this year.

I've had mixed experience with Truman so far. Ordered a pair of coach ramblers and by their recommendation, went true to size with a B width. Unfortunately way too tight...

Other than myself, you're the first person I know that has mentioned a narrow-width sizing issue. The funny thing is, I went TTS 11B, and my boots are still *too wide* in the forefoot. Feels like an 11D. But still comfy when laced up tight and with my thickest socks on...

Fairly certain they hadn't run this until this season.

Correct, I believe. I think they did a MTO run earlier this year and they've been "In Stock" now for a couple of weeks on the website.

That's why I jumped when I did (despite it being a bad time financially). I've got Wolverines in #8 color CXL and (admittedly darkened) bison tan...the centennial edition. I've got a pair of Clarks desert boots and a pair of Crosby Square in taupe/tan suede. I'm not a fan of black boots/shoes because they typically tend to lack "depth" of color (though I do have a pair of black suede chelseas), so these Winter Smoke will fill a nice color gap in my boot collection, as well as a functional gap, as this is the first pair of boots I've bought with commando soles (all my others are leather).

I was just surprised that no forum members had posted reviews or pics of these boots, as I was already seeing pics of the (more recent, I think) Moosehide boots. I'm assuming at least a few of the members probably picked up a pair. Thanks to rickmb for sharing that review. Chase Canoe...I don't think there was anything TO miss...we're all good here.

I think I may be missing something here - that was posted 1 day ago. That person just simply got in on MTO before Truman stopped doing it.

Yes, that's what I wrote, you're not missing anything ;-).

longhuntr74 was looking for pics as far back as 2014, so I figured it didn't matter from which run they were. Also, these are the first pics I've ever seen of this leather outside of Truman's promotional pics on site and Instagram, which I have to agree is kind of surprising seeing how much love these are getting on instragram.
