True story. The father of a kid I went to school with operated a grain conveyer that unloaded ships at the Port of Baton Rouge. He had his arm torn off at the elbow when he caught it in the conveyor, he stopped the conveyor, tied off the artery with his belt, backed the conveyor up, recovered his arm and went to find help. They couldn't reattach it. The kids name was Joe ,he had a glass eye and I sold him a motorcycle .
