Kinda envy you. My daughter is nearly 13 and I consider strangling her almost daily.Daughter turns 18 tomorrow and we will be a household of four adults.
Someone told me early on that as a parent the days are long, but the years are short -- and so it has proved.
That would be tough, I imagine. My folks were good enough to hold off on the out of CA flight until I graduated HS, though my dad would have been thrilled to runaway a decade prior...and I was a total cu*t (hilarious in hindsight) about it when plans were even vaguely materialzing.
