Daughter turns 18 tomorrow and we will be a household of four adults. :wow:

Someone told me early on that as a parent the days are long, but the years are short -- and so it has proved.
Kinda envy you. My daughter is nearly 13 and I consider strangling her almost daily.

Just out of curiosity, you sending her to college a thousand miles away like you did with the son?

Was she unhappy about having to move to Atlanta for the end of high school?

That would be tough, I imagine. My folks were good enough to hold off on the out of CA flight until I graduated HS, though my dad would have been thrilled to runaway a decade prior...and I was a total cu*t (hilarious in hindsight) about it when plans were even vaguely materialzing.

She stayed at her boarding school in California so it wasn’t an issue.

Yikes! I have watched planes taking off from the parking lot where the wheel landed.

I think I ruptured my triceps tendon bracing myself from falling flat on my face. Unfortunately I still fell flat on my face and busted my lip.

last week my kiddo's aluminum water bottle slid out of his backpack and fell on my ankle . I tried to play it off but inside I was crying .
