I feel like that coat deserves something more than clean blue jeans.

I do have other options like blue chinos or grey wool speck trousers but it’s not cold enough for the latter.

What do you think I could do to elevate myself?

@flipstah For me. On the Ring Coat, I'd like to see a fuller cut jean that falls just above the boot. Jean being well worn, new, boro stitched doesn't matter much my opinion.

I got a pair of Sugar Cane 1947s and actually sized up on them since the waist is a bit small on those. But they have paired with my Ring Coat really nicely. It's been awhile since I've broken in a jean, and it's still fun to see them age.

Mine is black too. The lighting is just off in that picture
