@FrankCowperwood I like the regular cut as the front rise sits higher (11" on a size 32). Would love it if they had more fabrics in the regular cut. I have two pairs in the gabardine, which is cool. Since I wear a lot of knits and textured goods, a different fabric may be wiser.

Nah, looks good.
@Soupytwist Dig the Jarvis Cocker vibe.
@#dadcore Colors seem off to me. Pants not right either.

Hmmm the pants>boots are what I like in the @#dadcore fit. Agree colors don’t seem to jibe.

I thumbed @#dadcore because a) great username and b) he dresses like me but he's definitely taller and perhaps more handsome. I like that fit but I see your guys' points. Maybe what's off is the formality level mix. The worsted (?) trousers with sharp crease and dramatic crop seem like they need a suit jacket, or some type of equally "crisp" top to finish it. Or the soft marled knit needs, like, jeans or some more casual (pooled/stacked?) pants. I like the general color palette though -- tan, charcoal, gray, brown. Overcoat is nice, even if it's not up to sipang length standards.

Also @FrankCowperwood continues to school me in grammar. I constantly use "does not jive" when it should be "jibe". :teach:

@gettoasty I agree with cocostella, that looks great. Volume and color combo super nice. (no more mens room photos though).

@Parker, that was a delightfully enjoyable stream of consciousness post. Made my day.

I am willing to accept that this fit didn’t really work, but I think that some of the issues with the colors are artifacts of ****** iPhone pics. The knit is actually a blue/tan SNS herning fisherman sweater. The true colors show up a little better here.

The pants are grey Calvary twill. I have been trying out pressing a crease into my cotton pants, which I usually don’t. And maybe I shouldn’t.

It’s funny you say that I dress like you, since the overcoat/knit/creased trouser/boot look was absolutely influenced by this infamous photo

The sleeves on the coat are a bit long, which I almost never encounter (I take a 35.5 sleeve on a dress shirt). I will probably get them tailored.

This is a bunch of helpful critique, I just got the coat and am interested in wearing it a lot so this gives me a lot of good ideas.

@beepbop is that the "laser burned" lab coat? Do you have any close up shots you could share? Super interested in the texture, Forme D uses such great fabrics.

Yeah it is! I don't have any of my own photos on hand right now, but I have one that Graham from Calculus Victoria sent me of the reverse side, which has the laser burned detail on the placket.
