Agreed - the 'idea' really stands out beyond the pieces, creating an interesting whole. A well executed ensemble of cheap pieces is always going to look better than a badly put together collection of pricey stuff, but you've really raised it. To be fair some bits I've bought in H&M in the past haven't been awful and make okay basics mixed in with other stuff (although I find the trawl for the one nugget amongst the crap too much of a hassle these days). I do challenge someone to come up with a decent fit from the H&M Balmain stuff thoughThat's pretty cool man. It's difficult enough just to look good in those brands, but you also make them look interesting.
