S
o I have a black dress shirt from ages ago that I never wear, so I thought I'd give it a try at making use out of it. I thought a grayscale/monochrome look would be one of the ways to do it. I tried with black jeans and it's turrible because it makes me look more like a waiter with black bottom and shirt. Maybe if I have a really textured faded pair of black jeans it'd work but I don't, so I went with this. I don't hang out in this part of the forum much and I'm still learning but I figured you guys would be more helpful. I don't usually wear trainers sneakers, but I thought it might work here, maybe going with black chukkas or chelseas would be better, but I honestly don't know anything about wearing sneakers since I haven't worn them since like middle school. I was trying to get the black shirt to work but tbh this would probably be better with a charcoal/drab T wouldn't it? fwiw the shirt is textured and has ribbing, it's not plain black, but the camera doesn't capture it well. And I like white jeans but probably the aforementioned more textured gray trouers that I don't have would be better.
Also, here's some belated holiday spirit: It's a christmas present from my spouse. I went into work with it on. I have no regrets.
not liking either fit.

fit looks ok but cannot make out anything due to poor lighting. take the pic with the light shining on you and it will be 100x better.

wow nice blazer, who makes it? it looks like dries, but given what you normally wear I'd almost guess that it's bespoke or something

Aether I feel like your style has degenerated and the facial hair ain't helpin'

meh

(hat + jacket + beard is a bad combo imo)

meh

Damn, @aether
, pretty nice video. Especially for seven years ago. Wish I still had a bike right about now.

Thanks bud. BMX is a great thing; it made me a better man. Taught me to go big or to go home, taught me calculated risk., taught me courage, and gave me killer balance and reaction speed. Not only that, it's a great workout but it's still a very creative activity. Oh yeah, and it gave me a few scars and broken bones too.
