1. I am being very careful to do exactly the opposite of a "n00b roasting," because I was worried that sooner or later someone was going to.
2. If he asks, I will be very happy to tell him what I think (in a constructive way).

My point was just that his fit wasn't that bad and whatever you have to say shouldn't require this much tiptoeing.

If I were you, I would try looser pants. the strong taper on those makes your boots look huge. Something about the shirt botome as well. I know it’s red but on my adroit seems to smooth for the jacket. I think a check would be better, possibly a red and black check although that might be too on the nose.
just my 2 cents.

You know what, I thought I looked like I had bonkers clown feet in a few pics I've posted but I assumed it was the angle of the phone or something because for my height I've actually got fairly average-sized feet (10.5 UK 11.5 US).

Have to admit I'm not really mad on the fit of basically any of my non-jean trousers at this point; my big thighs and long legs make it a bit of a nightmare to buy RTW and I tend to jump on anything that has the correct length...

The shirt is actually corduroy/needlecord, though I guess the texture doesn't come through in the photo.

your camera angle is skewing your proportions and making your legs look longer and your torso shorter as well. try taking a more leveled shot. this is the asian girl leg lengthening angle. also if you don't want to emphasize your leg length, don't tuck in your shirt and don't wear midrise pants.

your fit is mostly fine but perhaps the color coordination could be better. probably a different jacket would work better there.
