@The3rdConch0rd those shoes don't work with what you're going for. If you wanna keep it in that vein, something I think way better would be some thin-soled shoes like the summer collections Marsèll makes. A beaten-up soft leather, or a fabric-over-leather oxford w thin soles. Ssense has some good selection of Marsèll - the black and splotchy white ones would work...

@frankcowperwood coming from a guy who takes some of the nicest quality photos in this thread that means a lot! And I wish I could wear brogues as well as you wear loafers.

@breezybirch thanks for that suggestion! I have always loved Marsell's use of leather. Do you think that their soles are too low profile? That's my only holdup for that particular pair in this fit. That said I can definitely see their merit in a fit like this!

Overall, I was going for a rugged, streetwear look that's also luxe (lol is that even a thing or just nonsense I fabricated?). Heres a product shot of the footwear. Maybe the soles are too think and rugged for the wool-twill shorts?
