Sweet!

Maybe go with the lighter dial, to balance out the Rolex?

Can't lose either way.

A message from one of my SAs:

Not getting this one, though. Haven't seen it in the flesh, but not in the cards this year... According to "the plan." Hahah!

Plan Schman...KOP please! So people will stop complaining about the same boring, beautiful, and for many, grail watches you continue to post.

I'm the same as Tricky, in that I've spent years walking by stores in Sydney selling Rolexes, (new and used) and always squishing my face up against the glass and admiring the Subs (and other varieties, such as the Explorer) and dreaming. Then, more recently, when an actual Rolex boutique moved into Martin Place in the city, I would walk by there and admire the new pieces on show in the windows.

One day I bit the bullet...I'd desired the Sub for so long, now I was finally going to get one. It was a big purchase for me, I'm not as well off as many others in this thread. So it was a big deal for me. I'm glad I got it, even if it means it's my last big watch purchase (whether it is or not, only time will tell). But it was worth it. I'm thrilled with it.

Another sub shot, camping this weekend

You know, I used to be all over the dated Subs (116610) but the more I see no-date Subs, the more I could see myself wearing one!
