How can someone tell that a watch like that is authentic without examining it in person first. I can't ever imagine myself buying a +$60K watch from some random guy on ebay, without seeing it in person before hand, but that's just me.

If I ever were to scam a bunch of watch collectors on eBay, I know for sure that I would appear an old man not knowing what he is selling

Quick q: got a baume and mercier geneve that will cost $360 to repair. Worth it? Or too subjective to opine on? Pics earlier in this thread.

That seems to be roughly the start cost for a mechanical watch repair (which is usually an overhaul). This is what it will probably cost to have your watch serviced, once the warranty period ends. So, to answer your question: Yes.
